Payment information

Card payments are processed by our third party payment provider. We receive a confirmation of payment and limited details such as the payment method type, the last digits of the card and the transaction reference. We do not collect or store your full card number or security code.

  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent and referring website

We share personal information only as needed and with:

  • Our online ordering platform provider, which hosts the Site and the ordering system on our behalf
  • Our payment processor, to process card payments and refunds
  • Delivery partners and drivers, who receive the name, address, phone number and order details needed to complete a delivery
  • Communication and marketing tools, used to send order confirmations and, where you have consented, promotional messages
  • Analytics providers, in the form described in section 8
  • Professional advisors, such as our accountant, under confidentiality obligations
  • Public authorities, where disclosure is required by law, by a court order or to protect our rights or the safety of a person

These service providers are authorized to use the information only for the purposes we specify and are required to protect it.

7. Storage and transfers outside Quebec

Personal information is stored on servers operated by our service providers, which may be located outside Quebec, including elsewhere in Canada and in the United States. When information is transferred outside Quebec, we assess whether it will receive adequate protection and we put contractual protections in place with the service provider.

Information stored in another country may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access requests by local authorities.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

  • Keep the Site and your order secure

9. Marketing communications

Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not stop transactional messages such as order confirmations.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or for as long as the law requires.

  • Order and transaction records: kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules, generally six to seven years
  • Contact details used for marketing: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them
  • Customer service correspondence: kept for a reasonable period after the matter is closed
  • Website analytics data: kept in aggregate or anonymized form

Once the retention period ends, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

11. Security

We use reasonable physical, organizational and technological measures to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. These include restricted access to systems and records, secure connections for the Site, and use of established service providers for payment processing and hosting.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected persons and the Commission d'accès à l'information as required by law.

12. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Have inaccurate, incomplete or out of date information corrected
  • Withdraw your consent to a given use or disclosure
  • Ask that your information be deleted or that a link to it be de-indexed, where the law allows
  • Receive the computerized personal information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or have it transmitted to another organization, where the law allows
  • File a complaint about how we handle personal information

13. Automated decision making

We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you based exclusively on automated processing.

14. Children

The Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a minor without the consent of a person having parental authority. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Third party sites

The Site may link to third party websites, delivery platforms and social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version is published on the Site with a new date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
